Lantern Festival Workshop：Lantern Painting & Papercut

A new year is a new beginning! At this moment of bidding farewell to the old and welcoming the new, China Cultural Center in Stockholm organized lantern painting and paper cutting workshops in order to allow more friends to experience the charm of traditional Chinese culture and enjoy an unforgettable Lantern Festival celebration together.

Participants, young and old, held brushes and immersed themselves in the creation of hand-painted lanterns under detailed instruction, showcasing their unique artistic talents. The colorful lantern paintings gradually took shape through collective efforts, resembling a dazzling array of bright lights to celebrate the Lantern Festival.

The paper cutting workshop is also a major highlight of the day. The art of paper cutting is one of the treasures of traditional Chinese culture. Participants have learnt some paper cutting techniques from Helen Liu and created Spring-Festival-themed works.
