On June 29, Southern Medical University and China-Nordic Countries Center of Traditional Chinese Medicine conducted a seminar on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and health culture under the theme of “going global and building health together” at China Cultural Center in Stockholm. The seminar was attended by experts and scholars to engage in in-depth discussions and exchanges about traditional Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese culture.
Ms. Li Rui, Director of China Cultural Center in Stockholm, Ms. Fan Xiulan, Chief Consultant of China-Nordic Countries Center of Traditional Chinese Medicine and President of Biyun Academy in Sweden, Mr. Niko Nygren, Secretary-General of China-Nordic Countries Center of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Mr. Lars Kopperud, Deputy Secretary-General of China-Nordic Countries Center of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dr. Zhang Shouting, Executive Chairman of Nordic Sustainable Development Association, Dr. Yu Jiang, Chairman of China Sweden Life Science Association, and Dr. Peng Hongbin, Swedish general practitioner, attended the seminar. It is hoped that through collaborations and exchanges on education and popularization of traditional Chinese medicine, Chinese culture, especially traditional Chinese medicine culture, can be better introduced to the world.
